I've been tying Slamming Salmon, Trying Trout, Sly Steelhead, Bassy Bass, $ Slivery Shad flies since before I was 12 years old(I'm 43 yrs. now), and have become efficient and good at it. My flies Stay Together!
In fact, I've had many friends & customerscome to me and tell me they can go to a store to buy flies and can only catch 1 to 1 doz. fish on a fly, but, they've said they'll buy my flies and are guaranteed to be able to catch over 2 doz. fish (trout) on a single fly! (Sometimes 3 Dozen!) before they start to come apart!!
That says it all about my flies! I construct them with the best materials I can find. When tied properly, they won't twist & unravel. I use wire to ensure my flies are durable, where other flies use only thread or similar material.
When I finish the fly, I use two different knots to tie it off. And if that weren't enough, I'll head cement each and every fly to ensure it stays intact.
So, you can why they stay together so well. Even fish after fish!! You won't be disappointed should you choose my flies!!!
True, they may seem more expensive on 1st glance, but they'll save you up to 3X the money that you'd spend on any store-bought, overseas-tied fly!
